Our custom acrylic stamps have arrived. We are using these to add some color to our care cards. Using an old-school ink pad is way more cost effective than printing everything on an inkjet – and it saves on electricity as well.
The hand-stamping adds to the personal touch our cards provide. Inside every card
is a personalized message conveying love and hope. Each item we provide includes a card. Every card also contains a QR code and web address linking to an online form allowing recipients to tell us their story. In addition to giving people a voice, this will help us learn about who we are serving and measure the impact of our programs.
Over the next year, we will be working toward turning any fabric scraps from damaged garments
into paper to use for the cards… Just another way for us to work towards sustainability while serving the greater good.
We will soon need some volunteers to help us write out the cards. If you’re interested,
