This Giving Tuesday, Help Us Spread Love and Hope
This year, we made a heartfelt decision: we canceled all but one of our end-of-year fundraisers to ensure resources could flow freely to our neighbors in Western NC recovering from Hurricane Helene. While their rebuilding continues, so do the needs in our own community—and we’re counting on your Giving Tuesday and end of year generosity to help us bridge the gap.
In 2024, we’ve accomplished so much together:
- 30 children received art and craft supplies to inspire creativity and learning.
- 12+ individuals transitioning into stable housing were supported with essential bedding and housewares.
- A displaced family of four found hope and a fresh start after we furnished their home post-Hurricane Helene.
- 22 cold weather packs—plus coats, blankets, boots, and other essentials—helped our unsheltered neighbors stay warm.
- 65 children received the winter coats they desperately needed.
And we’re not slowing down. This December, we’re:
- Distributing coats to 50+ additional children.
- Providing cold-weather essentials to dozens of unsheltered individuals.
- Ensuring 75–100 children and families are equipped with winter clothing.
By year’s end, we will have touched the lives of nearly 300 people in Lincoln County—a testament to the power of your compassion.
To continue this vital work, and to expand our service area, we must raise $48,510 to fund our operations through June 2025.
How Your Support Is Used:
We are committed to transparency and maximizing the impact of every dollar you give. For 2025, we’re planning a budget that responsibly allocates 70% for program costs and 30% for management costs, ensuring that the majority of your donation directly benefits those we serve.
- Program Costs ($58,000): Providing clothing, supplies, and essential services to children, families, and individuals in need.
- Management Costs ($21,680): Ensuring the operational stability and efficiency that make our programs possible.
